Wesley is 4 Months Old: An Overdue Update

Where did the time go? Where did my updates go? Oops!
Wesley turned 4 months yesterday. Sometimes it feels as though he has been with us so much longer than that because I can’t really imagine our family anymore without him. And yet I get a bit sad thinking about how fast he is growing. Would you like to see for yourself?
It isn’t that I haven’t been taking plenty of pictures but I have definitely been hoarding them for myself. It really isn’t intentional so here are some of my favorite shots from the past month!
Lucian and Warren are still in love with their little brother. They have not yet gotten jealous of him but I do have to be careful that they don’t “love” on him too much!
Wes is always full of smiles and especially loves to share them with me which makes me feel like the most special person on earth.
He loves to play and is so close to rolling over. He has a great grasp and everything is going into his mouth these days, especially his fingers. Yum!
He still enjoys giving looks that seem to ask, “What are you doing?”
The furrowed brow is not gone but is no longer his signature look. He is still curious as ever though. And gets a bit annoyed with the camera. Mommy taking pictures = mommy not holding me.
Wesley has been great to me the last couple of months in terms of sleep. Except for just a couple of nights, he sleeps a good 7- 8 hours straight. Unfortunately his naps are more like cat naps and it makes it harder for me to get things done during the day. But I can’t complain!
Wes is truly one of a kind!

Yay for a Wes update! He’s getting so big. I so wish he and Max could hang out. They’d have lots to talk about. 🙂

Great photos of such a cutie! I can relate with your feelings of time flying, yet it seems like he’s been with you for a long time. My son is 6 months and sometimes it seems like it’s been a looong six months, yet when I look back at his newborn pics I get emotional b/c it’s all gone by so quickly and he’s getting so big so fast! It’s awesome to see them grow, but it’s also so bittersweet….
By now Wesley is 5 months going on 6 months. Your baby is so adorable! and I understand on the updates, we mean to do them but life gets to us sometimes and well everyone knows that mommies are real busy people! lol I’m due in 2 1/2 weeks and with all the preparations for my baby boy and the doctor’s appointment i too don’t have enough time to post new things on my blog but i’m trying and it’ll eventually get done 🙂 Thanks for the update and cute pictures! 🙂
