Wordless Wednesday – Race Day

One of the benefits of being married to a runner always training and competing in races is that my boys want to be like their daddy. When daddy is gone my two year old Warren will immediately say he is out for a run. And they want to go too. So much so that my husband now takes the boys individually on short runs through the neighborhood “training”. Last Friday both the boys participated in their first race before their daddy’s race.
They were so proud of themselves and all I could do was beam.

I love the picture with daddy! What a great way to encourage your children to be fit!
That is so cool! They’re adorable!
That looks like fun! I’ve never seen a race for such little ones!
It was the four and under category. You could choose to run with them if you wanted to. It was so cool to see them out there!
Who is that lady running in bare feet?
I don’t really think she was running really but yeah, you would never catch me out there without shoes!
Oh they are absolutely adorable!!
A family that runs together…Daddy and son running together is the most precious thing!

Happy WW!!
Oh my gosh, that is so cute! They look so proud of themselves! 🙂
I am pretty sure that is just about the cutest thing I have ever seen. Look at their little legs GO!
It looks like they understood the whole concept of the race and were really trying hard. Congratulations boys!
How fun! I wish we had a children’s run around here… maybe there will be when my son is a bit older. He would have a blast running with his Daddy.
That is so awesome! I love how happy they look.
Serious cuteness! I love how flushed his cheeks are in the last photo. He was working hard. 🙂
Oh how fun! I’m sure you were so proud of your little guys!
How fun! I think Gaige would love that too!
Adorable. I love seeing acomplishment at such a young age… builds confidence.
Looks like a gorgeous day for fun and races outside.
You should be proud. I don’t run anywhere. My motto is if I went any slower I’ld be going in reverse. I would love for you to come read my WW post.
