Did you you know that Pi Day is on March 14th? This annual celebration commemorates the mathematical constant . Since 3, 1, and 4 are the three most significant digits of Pi in the decimal form, it is observed 3/14. But you don’t have to be a math whiz to want to join in on the party. What better way to celebrate than with some awesome pie? In honor of this day, I’ve created a collection of 13 Patriotic Pies.
Don’t they look mouth-watering? I chose 13 to represent our original colonies. These would be great for any patriotic holiday such as Memorial Day, 4th of July or Labor Day, but don’t stop there. Really any celebration, big or small, is made better with some pie that honors being American. I remember making this easy no-bake American Flag Pie a few years ago, featuring the flag! It easy and tasty. That is my kind of pie.
Checkout this collection featuring everything from mini pies to pies in mason jars to berry fruit pies and pies featuring our flag. You are sure to find something both symbolic and delicious!
Wiith strawberries in season, I am ready to try this one
What lovely pies. Thank you for sharing.
I just love the Pie In A Jar idea! How cute is that and a great way to use all the canning jars I have. I’m thinking for the 4th when we have a family BBQ! Thanks for the inspiration!
I’m checking out these pies for Memorial Day weekend. Hubby has to take a dessert for potluck at work and I need to make one for a family gathering. So these will work out just great.
