I love all types of movies. Before kids, my husband and I would go to the movies almost every week. We saw a wide variety of films, from action to drama to romantic comedies. If it had a good plot and strong acting, I was hooked.  But my favorite movies have always been those that make me feel something. I just love a  movie that makes me really care about the characters. Whether I laugh, cry or just feel good afterwards, it is my kind of movie. That is why when a Nicholas Sparks movie comes out, I can’t resist watching. Ever since The Notebook, a movie based on a book by author Nicholas Sparks always grabs my attention. I was asked to share with you his latest movie, The Best of Me, which hits theaters October 17th.

Film Synopsis:

Based on the bestselling novel by acclaimed author Nicholas Sparks, The Best of Me tells the story of Dawson and Amanda, two former high school sweethearts who find themselves reunited after 20 years apart, when they return to their small town for the funeral of a beloved friend.
