It is no secret that I love brunch. My kids can be on the pickier side but one thing we all love and enjoy as a family are breakfast foods. It is why we often have breakfast for dinner and why I’ve become a pro at making everything from scrambled eggs to french toast to bacon and everything in between. But I was also the kid growing up who almost always picked breakfast at a restaurant if it was still be served, no matter what time of day. It is true comfort food for me and why I was pleasantly surprised to receive a copy of Brunch at Bobby’s from likable Food Network Star Bobby Flay. This cookbook is jam packed with 140 brunch recipes. It is no wonder it has topped the New York Time’s Bestseller List.
About the Book
At long last, Bobby shares his simplest, most sought-after recipes—while still delivering his signature intense flavors. Bobby Flay may be best known for his skills at the grill, but brunch is his favorite meal of the week. In Brunch @ Bobby’s he includes 140 recipes starting with the lip-smacking cocktails, both spiked and virgin, that we have come to expect from him, along with hot and iced coffees and teas. He then works his way through eggs; pancakes, waffles, and French toast (including flavored syrups and spreads); pastries (a first) and breads; salads and sandwiches; and side dishes. Pull up a seat and enjoy a Sangria Sunrise, Carrot Cake Pancakes with Maple-Cream Cheese Drizzle, Sautéed Bitter Green Omelets, and Wild Mushroom-Yukon Gold Hash. This is how Bobby does brunch.
While you might not typically think of brunch when you think of Bobby Flay, he’s got some amazingly sweet recipes in his new cookbook. The Carrot Cake Pancakes with Maple-Cream Cheese Drizzle look absolutely decadent, but I can’t wait to try the Mini Pumpkin Churros with Chocolate-Orange Dipping Sauce.
If sweet treats aren’t your thing or you’d like to add some delicious protein dishes to your menu, Bobby Flay has some sure winners like this Tarte Flambe or Texas Eggs Benedict featuring rib eye steak. Yum!
This cookbook has several alcoholic recipes that are considered acceptable before noon like Sangria Sunrise, but you’ll also find other non-alcoholic drinks such as Iced Coffee and Berry Tea Smoothie. With so many recipes to chose from, there really is something for everyone!

Disclosure: I received a small gift for my time for this post. All thoughts are my own.
My choice of menu is larger.
My favorite thing about brunch is the obvious it’s either breakfast or lunch foods or both which is definitely the best! I love to meet friends and family for brunch!
My fave part about brunch is a delicious omelet. Okay, maybe the mimosas too lol…
My fave thing about brunch is that it usually is relaxed, maybe we got to sleep in, etc!
My favorite thing about brunch is the relaxed pace and the spread of goodies!
My favorite part of brunch is Mimosa’s!
My favorite thing is the fact you can sleep in and then have a relaxing meal!
Brunch breakfast food just not so early…its perfection
I like to be able to choose foods that are traditionally part of different meals. Chicken and waffles, anyone?
I can’t eat when I first wake up, so when it is possible, I love brunch. My faves are stuffed french toast w/fresh berries and Finnish oven pancakes, also with fresh berries & cream.
I like brunch because it lets me still eat breakfast food and lunch at the same time!
I love that there are so many choices and usually great company!
I love the idea of lunch and breakfast served at one meal!!!
i love brunch food… it is some of my favorite foods. i like that i can sleep in for brunch too
I like brunch because I can sleep in and still have a delicious breakfast when I wake up 🙂
My favorite thing about brunch is that there is generally something to please everyone, and that you don’t have to get up that early to be on time!
I love brunch because its breakfast only at a later time and that is good for me because I am not an early riser.
I love that it gives you an excuse to sleep in and eat a little later!
My favorite thing about Brunch is that we do them on weekends so we can linger over our food and coffee and visit and catch up on the week.
Thanks for the giveaway!
I like being able to sleep in late and exercise before fueling the rest of my day with a hearty meal like brunch. The first meal is supposed to be the most important, but I like to eat closer to the afternoon so brunch with breakfast and lunch combined suits me well.
