When it comes to candles and glitter, they are a killer combination. The sparkle really creates a magical effect in candlelight. Jamie of Some of This and That is back with another fun tutorial. She has created these super fun, but inexpensive candle holders using the trays of tea lights. These sparkling flower candle holders can be customized to any color scheme and work great for entertaining. I could see these candle flowers for a backyard luau or as part of wedding or bridal shower centerpiece. This is a great way to get a custom look for any space.

This project takes only four supplies!
Materials Needed:
- 6 empty aluminum tea light cases (you can usually get a pack of 12 at the Dollar Store)
- Glitter
- Modge Podge
- Rolling Pin
Directions:
To form the petal, gently push in the sides of the tea light so that they meet towards the center. Use a rolling pin to press each petal flat. Do this with 5 of the tea lights.
Cover each petal in Modge Podge and coat in glitter. Allow to dry and dust off any excess glitter.
Using the sixth tea as a base and glue each of the petals to the bottom. Allow to dry.
Gently reshape any petals that may have lost their shape while gluing.
Place a tea light candle into the center base.

Such a cute craft!! I am not a crafty person, however, this looks easy enough that I think I could do it. I am even thinking holidays, would be pretty with red and green leaves. 🙂

Great quick DIY to add sparkle to any décor. Very pretty, love the blue glitter. This would be fun to do with the kids, although glitter would be everywhere.
