When my first two boys were little we owned a LeapFrog Learning Table and it was a favorite toy for both of them. By the time our youngest Wesley was born, we no longer had it anymore and it was always a toy I was certain we’d replace. Now we our new LeapFrog Animal Adventure Learning Table and we were excited to introduce it to our 6 month old!
One of my favorite new features is the removable legs which gives you two height options. Besides the traditional table, you can also use just the top which allows younger babies like Wesley to enjoy it as well. The four legs easily click into the underside of the table top and are just as easily removed with the press of a button. I love that this means we get an even longer life with this toy!
You’ll also find two levels for sound and two different play modes. The unit goes to sleep after a period of one minute of inactivity after audio end but can be woken up by activating any switch.
This musical sing-along table features seven activity-packed stations which teach numbers, shapes, colors, opposites and more!
Wesley really enjoys exploring his new table and is fascinated by all the sounds and lights. He especially loves to play the mini piano and bat the fish spinner to watch it twirl.
The table is designed for ages 6 to 36 months so I know that Wes will get tons of playtime in and with more than 100 songs plus learning responses, I know he won’t get bored with too much repetition. I think it means I won’t get tired of listening to the same thing over and over again too!
My only concern is with the mirror lid when the table is flat on the ground. Wes can’t quite sit completely unsupported yet. At one point he was admiring himself in the mirror but then started to lean on the lid with one hand while his other hand was still on the mirror. Thankfully I was right there and was able to move his hand away but left unattended and he may have squished his poor fingers with his own body weight. Just something to keep in mind if you too have younger baby.
Once Wes can stand, this toy will be awesome to help encourage him to use his gross motor skills to move around the table at the different stations. I like that this table has a round design versus a square to make it even easier. It will also be perfect for any playmates who would like to join in on the fun! Overall we are very happy to add another LeapFrog Learning Table into our collection of toys!

Oh my goodness, he has gotten even more adorable (how is that possible?) … my girls always loved learning tables like those, it really helped them with standing up and walking edges.

I love that the table has removable legs. I am more likely to get something like that since we can use it longer.

Wow, that looks awesome, and your son is adorable. I think that the removable legs are a great feature, and pretty unique. Plus, that means you can use the table longer, which is always a good thing. Thanks for the great review.

I love the removable leg feature too. Also love the 100 songs. I am sure as moms we do get tired of hearing some toys that constantly play the same song over and over again. This will not be the case with this toy!. Wes looks like he is sure enjoying playing with this toy!

Deciding between this table and the Leapfrog Learn & Groove Table. Is this a better choice?
