I love sharing books with my children.  I love watching their imaginations soar as they are lost in stories of princesses, pirates, monsters and fairies.  February 26th is National Fairy Tale Day and to help us celebrate I See Me! sent me 2 great personalized fairy books to share with my children.

I See Me sweet-dreams-fairy-personalized-book-57I See Me! sent me their newest book Sweet Dreams, Fairy which I decided would be perfect for my youngest daughter Delaney.

In this personalized book the main character–your little one–is a busy forest fairy who tends to her garden, eats dinner with her family, gets ready for bed, and lets a magical bedtime story float her off to sleep. Children will delight in seeing her name alongside this adorable little fairy and her charming pet, the glowworm, who acts as a nightlight when she’s ready for sleep.

By giving them a few key items about Delaney, they were able to create a very special keepsake Fairy Tale.  I provided them with the following:
  • Child’s name
  • Birthdate
  • Hair color
  • Skin color
  • Child’s favorite color
  • Name of two friends (or siblings)

I See Me8I was also able to send them a high resolution photo to be included in the inside cover of the book.  Delaney was delighted to see her face in the book with a special message saying “This book was made especially for Delaney”.

I See Me9The website looks extremely easy to use with simple fill in the blanks for the items needed to personalize the books.  Each page can be viewed on the site so you can read the stories and pick the one that is right for you.  I love this detail as you aren’t left guessing if it will be relevant or fitting for your child.

I See Me6The book has such vibrant illustrations which Delaney loved.  She loved picking out all of the little details in the pictures such as a bunny rabbit hiding in the background.

I See Me7My kids all loved that I was able to include the names of Delaney’s 2 brothers Kurtis and Keegan who accompany her through various parts of the story.  Though they were a little sad to see that they were pictured as girl fairies.  Oops!  I do wish there was an option of designating if they were boys or girls.

I See MeDanica received the book My Very Own Fairy Tale.  This book was much more appropriate for her as she is older and this book has a lot more reading involved.

Fairies bring letters one by one to spell out your child’s first and last name in rhyme in this beautifully illustrated personalized fairy tale book. At the end, they crown her to be their fairy princess.

I See Me2This book is very special to Danica as I was able to put a special message to her in the beginning of the book, and, like Delaney’s book, I was able to include a picture of her.

I See Me3It is a very fun book to read as each fairy, beginning with the letter they are bringing, adds a letter until the child’s entire name is spelled.  The Dewberry Fairy brought the D, followed by the Angel Trumpet Fairy who brings the A and so on until the first and last names are spelled out.  Each fairy is named after a variety of flower.

For “My Very Own Fairy Tale” I provided the following:

  • Child’s Name
  • Birthdate
  • A dedication to the child from the sender (optional)

A great bonus to this book is the 5 pages at the end of the book outlining all of the different fairies with facts about the flowers they are named after.  To make it even more fun, all of the fairies are found throughout the book so you can do a search and find them all.

I love items such as these personalized fairy books that make my children feel special.  My husband has a couple of books from when he was a child that his parents made for him and they are very special keepsakes just as these books will hopefully be to my girls.
