This past year my family moved out into the country. With that move came a lot of changes for us. One of those changes was the decision to give up cable. There is not a cable provider in our area, and we could get a dish, but we decided to try to live without it. So far so good, we haven’t missed it most of the time, but this did mean that my children watch more DVDs now. They were so excited to receive the new Doc Mcstuffins: Cuddle Me Lambie DVD along with some fun dinnerware to enjoy.
Even without cable, my kids are well aware of who Doc McStuffins is and they are big fans. They have watched it at Grandma’s and many other places so they were thrilled to receive it.
Delaney, my 2 year old however was pretty new to seeing Doc McStuffins and she is in love! She was thrilled to try out her new placemat, plate, bowl, flatware set, and cup. We used them for lunch then sat down to watch the new DVD.
Synopsis:
No one gives better cuddles than Doc’s warm and fuzzy best friend: She’s a princess and a ballerina, and she’s always there for toys that need an extra helping of tender loving care. Just say three little words: “Cuddle Me Lambie.”
Join Doc and the whole gang as they laugh, play and have a ball fixing boo-boos and discovering great ways to stay happy and healthy. Celebrate the power of true friendship as new, sparkly heart toy Val shows Lambie there’s plenty of love to go around. meet Donny and Alma’s monster creation Charlie – who turns out to be very sweet and not scary after all. Then, see how Lambie gets out of a super-sticky jam! Bursting with five song-filled episodes and cuddles galore, this “hug-stravaganza” is magical fun your little one will adore!
I love that Doc McStuffins is so kind and sweet. It really teaches my kids good values to care for others, and I love that it makes them all consider being a Doctor when they grow up. All 4 of my kids walk around the house signing after watching the DVD.

Another of my favorite things about this DVD is the length. At 120 minutes run time this DVD is nice for afternoons when I want my 4 year old to have some quiet time. He is getting away from napping every day, but I still require him to have some down time every afternoon. We will often put a video in (and often he will still fall asleep), but I find with some videos that are too short, he just gets up when the video is done and refuses to nap. The long video would also be great for long car rides where you want them entertained, but if you weren’t looking for it to be that long, it is nice because you can only watch an episode or two at a time!
Our DVD also included a set of free Lambie Hair Clips. They are completely adorable and Delaney loves them since she is obsessed with having something in her hair every day recently.
I would absolutely recommend this Doc McStuffins DVD to anyone who asked. I think it is a great show with great values for little kids.
