I love Not Me! Monday created by My Charming Kids so I’ll take this time to reflect on what I did not do this past week. Please take a moment to visit MckMama’s blog and check out what she has not been up to this past week!

This past week I did not grab my 19 month old Warren after getting a whiff of something not so pleasant to see if he needed to be changed. While attempting a quick peek, he didn’t move and my finger didn’t get “pooed”. Nope. I didn’t get poop on my forefinger because he just missed going out of his diaper and because of perfect timing. And even if it did it certainly wouldn’t phase me.

While taking a shower I didn’t mistakenly pour conditioner into my hand before shampoo. I wasn’t completely out of my mind to try and save this conditioner and hold it in my right hand as I shampooed my hair with my left. And as I was shampooing my hair with one hand I didn’t wonder what the heck I was doing just to conserve a small amount of conditioner and yet continue on this path of ridiculousness anyway.

And on Friday night I didn’t find myself lost in You Tube land, staying up way too late to watch some drummer who I was fascinated with because he made drumming look so easy. Not that I’m a drummer..or know a drummer. I’m not even a musician myself.  Perhaps I never have seen a drummer do their thing up close before and have a new respect. He might also just have some mad skills, including some cool stick tricks.

Seriously? Shouldn’t I be doing more productive things with my time? Like laundry or cleaning (like my still disastrous laundry room) or even blogging?! And just in case you were curious, this isn’t the drummer I was watching for no really good reason.

Rock on Jimmy Kadesch!
