Not Me Monday- #3

I love Not Me Monday created by My Charming Kids so I’ll take this time to reflect on what I did not do this past week.

This weekend I did not make the mistake of wearing black to my sister’s birthday celebration. I would be smarter than that when my son still has a constantly runny nose. I certainly would have kept this in mind and not chosen a dark color just because it is more flattering on me. And I definitely did not take a picture of my snot covered shoulder and arm and put it on display here. Nope.

I also did not find my two year old comical when he was starting to annoy his daddy yesterday either. I certainly did not find it funny that my poor hubby was trying to take a little snooze on the couch and Lucian thought it would be fun to play the “wake up” game with him by kissing his nose. (We normally LOVE that game.) When that wasn’t successful on getting Daddy up he then proceeded to steal Daddy’s blanket. No, I did not get a kick out of this interaction. I guess I may have had some pity on the poor guy and finally explained to Lucian that Daddy will be cold if you take his blanket. I then did not simply distract him with something else once I had a good chuckle.
