Is it weird to say I’m in love with a vacuum? Because I seriously think I am in love with the Hoover Air Cordless Lift Upright Vacuum. I’m not alone. My husband Joe has repeatedly expressed similar thoughts when using our new vacuum. I should have gorgeous pictures from when we unboxed this beauty but I don’t because Joe couldn’t wait to try it out. He immediately went to work vacuuming the whole house before I could stop him. (And really, would I actually stop him? I don’t think so.)
I used to think having a automatic cord keeper on our old vacuum was amazing. With just the press of a button my cord would be sucked up and stowed away within the vacuum. But what if my vacuum had no cord at all? How amazing would that be? Just like it states in the name, the Hoover Air Cordless Lift Upright Vacuum has no cord to speak of. This is the only the cordless line that is powered by an interchangeable battery system that works with all products in the Hoover cordless line. It runs on LithiumLife batteries which have double the capacity of the standard 18-volt lithium Ion batteries.
What does that mean?
This vacuum has TWO batteries with charger and each have a run time of 50 minutes. That means that one battery can always be charged or charging while you are using the other. It also means longer runtime and fade-free power and that my friends, is pretty sweet.
The Hoover Cordless Family:
- No cord means you have freedom to move about your home with ease; no plugging and unplugging, no winding and rewinding and most importantly, no tripping, tugging or tangling
- Multiple products with an interchangeable battery provide versatility to tackle a variety of messes with just the right tool for the job, whether it’s the whole house or picking up a quick mess
- The line of 4 cordless cleaners—3 vacuums and a hard floor wet cleaner with the Power and Performance of Hoover
Some of the other nifty features includes being able to switch between hardwoods and carpet with just the touch of a button and a removable canister that allows you to easily get stairs and other hard to reach places. Windtunnel 3 technology provides performance and suction power to lift and remove dirt. To clean, simply empty canister and periodically wash the air filter. (Two air filters are included so you don’t have to wait for it to dry to use your vacuum!)
I’m a little shocked, embarrassed and excited all at once at how much this vacuum sucked up. I love how easy it is to switch from room to room throughout our house without every having to plug it in.
To really put it to the test, we decided to try it out with some game day snacks!
My husband and I are huge football fans and watching the game is important to us. While we normally don’t allow any eating in our living room, we make expectations for movie night and game day.
I’m normally careful about what I offer so the kids don’t make a total mess, but this time I didn’t let that stop me from serving things I know would get messy like crackers and popcorn.
With three boys including a three year old, it is no surprise that my living room rug was a disaster after. But I made quick work of cleanup with our new cordless vacuum from Hoover.
With the the multi-floor electronic brushroll, steerable technology and boost mode, clean up was done in no time. I really love the lightweight design and way the vacuum tilts with ease!
There are so many more features to love from this Hoover Air Cordless Lift Upright Vacuum. Look for it at major retailers nationwide including Amazon, Target and Walmart!
What features are most important to you when picking out a vacuum?
I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.
Most important feature is it has great suction, with 3 cats and all that hair just imagine. I would love it if it didn’t have a cord, i hate that sound it makes when I accidentally vacuum the cord.
