Have You Tried Live Real Farms Dairy Plus Milk Blends?

I was recently introduced to Live Real Farms Dairy Plus Milk Blends, a unique new dairy product featuring a half dairy, half plants. This lactose-free milk blend is available in several varieties with dairy blended with almond milk or oat milk. There is something for everyone with both plain,  chocolate and vanilla along with sweetened or unsweetened options. This product gives you the creaminess of dairy and the goodness of plants for a tasty combination. I’ve heard it is especially delicious in smoothies so I decided to make a green smoothie at home!

To make this Spinach Banana Smoothie you’ll need the following ingredients:

I love adding spinach to smoothies because it adds so many great vitamins and minerals.  Spinach has a high nutritional value and is a great source of calcium, iron,  Vitamin K, magnesium and so much more.  (There is a reason a certain beloved animated character becomes strong after consuming it!)  If mixed with fruits that are also green or yellow, the result is a bright green smoothie.

The natural sugar from the fruit will make this smoothie sweet enough on its own, but the sweetened variety of Live Real Farms Dairy Plus Almond Milk Blend Vanilla took this smoothie to another level and produced one of the best tasting smoothies I’ve ever had. You could easily use the unsweetened version if you are looking to cut down on the sugar, however.

How to Make a Spinach Smoothie

To make this smoothie for one, you’ll need to blend all ingredients together.  Start with adding 1/2 cup of Live Real Farms Dairy Plus Almond Milk Blend Vanilla.

Next add your frozen banana, fresh orange, and kiwi. You could freeze all your fresh fruit ahead of time for a frothier smoothie, but I recommend at least the banana is frozen.

Next, add in one cup of fresh spinach. Blend until well combined.

Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately!  My husband and I both loved the flavor combination of this spinach banana smoothie recipe.

We can’t wait to play around with other fruit options like pineapple and mango.

Live Real Farms Dairy Almond Milk Chocolate and Vanilla Varieties

My middle son for years struggled with nasal congestion he couldn’t shake. He wasn’t sick but would have an awful time sleeping because he couldn’t breathe properly through his nose, even with nasal strips. Last year we started buying almond milk for him to have at dinner instead of milk. Since then his nasal congestion has really improved. However, he doesn’t get the full benefits of dairy with almond milk which has considerably less protein. By offering Live Real Farms Dairy Plus Blend with 5g of protein, I no longer have to compromise taste for health and ensure my kids can get all the protein they need.

Live Real Farms Dairy Plus Milk Blends is a great compromise for us! It is the first dairy milk that is fortified with plant power, so he can get the simple goodness of plants and the real creaminess of dairy. While my son’s issues aren’t lactose related, it is great to see such a delicious lactose-free milk blend available for those who need that option.

It also helps that it tastes amazing. Both varieties we purchased were gone in no time, but the Live Real Farms Dairy + Almond Milk Blend Sweetened Vanilla was the clear favorite. My kids are already begging me to buy more!
