Tiny Love Gymini My Nature Pals Playmat for Baby {Review & Giveaway}

If there was one toy that I had no doubt in my mind I needed to get for my third baby Wesley, it was a playmat. I loved how it encouraged tummy time and made it fun for them as they built up their strength. When I saw the Gymini® My Nature Pals™ from Tiny Love I immediately feel in love with the overall design and bright colors.

One of my very favorite features of this playmat is the smart motion system. The other two we’ve owned have always lacked the extra support at the top and would bend under the weight of toys. In fact, the previous gym we had for Wesley would bend so low that it actually encouraged him to stay on his back. If he tried to lift himself up he would hit the lighted mirror or toys would hang on his face. The Gymini from Tiny Love is very secure and stays where I put it. I can choose how I’d like the arch so I can keep everything higher or move the center down and put more toys within easy reach!

Wes loves the seven toys that come along with this center. The toys hook easily into the gym and can be used easily outside the center. The system (like most playmats) allow for his other toys to hang as well. Since he was already cutting teeth when we set it up, he absolutely loved the silicone discs to chew on. He also had fun exploring the different textures and sounds within the mat itself and his new rattle friends, the frog and beaver!

Wes really enjoys the caterpillar toy with lights and music. With two sound levels and modes, you can choose to play continuously for 20 minutes or switch to baby-activated mode which rewards Wes with sounds when he moves the caterpillar. We’ve taken this along for trips to entertain him outside of his gym.  Even though Wesley is now outgrowing this Gymini, all of the toys are still played with on a regular basis.

Overall we love this playmat and would highly recommend to others. The only downside we found was it took a bit more effort on our part to fold it completely flat. While others can fold flat in literally a couple of seconds, this one takes a bit more time because of the smart motion system and snaps at the base.  With this feature however comes more security and functionality so it worth the slight inconvenience. Also keep in mind this center does require 3 AAA batteries for the caterpillar which are not included.
