TruMoo Chocolate Marshmallow Milk: Special Treat on a Cold Day

Winter here in Minnesota has been brutal like much of the country. My hometown has broken a record with 60 days of below zero temperatures and our winter isn’t even over. We’ve been spending a lot of time indoors thanks to the cold. One favorite treat this winter has been hot cocoa with marshmallows so when I was asked to try out the Limited Edition TruMoo Chocolate Marshmallow milk, I figured it would be a hit. As a mom I’ve always loved that TruMoo milk products are made without high fructose corn syrup and that their farmers pledge to not use artificial growth hormones.
TruMoo shared with me a few fun ways to serve up this special flavor, including how to make a s’more drink! I simply wet the side of a clear mug and sprinkled graham cracker crumbs along the top. A little TruMoo Chocolate Marshmallow milk (hot or cold), and some whipped cream with mini chocolate chips to dress it up a little and voilà. We have a special treat that took just a couple of minutes to make.
The package suggests trying it hot so I did! I added a bit of whipped cream and couple of marshmallows to the top but honestly, the drink is a bit sweeter than traditional chocolate milk and cocoa so it really wasn’t necessary. It has a lot of flavor on its own and creates a very creamy hot chocolate.
Thankfully our weather was a bit warmer over the weekend and my boys were able to get outside and play. After a bit of sledding in our backyard with their dad, they came in fully expecting to have their usual cocoa to warm up.
Instead we tried TruMoo Chocolate Marshmallow Milk to change it up. All the boys loved it and I think Wesley summed it up well when he emphaticly said “more” and signed it over and over for good measure.

OMG who does not love chocolate with marshmallow! the good thing about trumoo is no HFCS and hormones! will have to try this out!

I made plain Hot Chocolate with this milk and it tastes so delicious on its own. I like that I can make it hot! I like marshmallows on top! It is so delicious.

I’ve recently given up chocolate milk cause of all the added stuff and missed it greatly. I never realized that TruMoo didn’t have fructose corn syrup! It’s on my list and I may even give myself a treat with your smores drink!

trumoo is my favorite brand of chocolate milk. I haven’t tried the marshmellow kind though.
