I just got back tonight after a wonderful trip to Chicago for a the Wilton Mom Fall ReTreat for the Wilton Mom Ambassadors. Last night we had a blast exploring downtown Chicago, including the Navy Pier. Even though the fog took away some of our scenic views, it certainly didn’t put a damper on our evening.
If you have never had the chance to meet Lori from A Cowboy’s Wife and My Wooden Spoon you are missing out. Seriously, she is a hoot and a half. I tried snapping a quick self portrait and she just couldn’t resist hamming it up in the background.
I’m so lucky to call this gal my friend!
All of us ladies belly laughed so hard we had tummy aches. Thank you to Wilton for showing that blogger events are about building relationships!

Ok, so I WAS totally jealous about the wilton experience and learning to decorate etc. But now I’m also jealous cuz it looks like such FUN too!! I wanna be a wilton ambassador, think they want a total klutz in the kitchen to prove that truly anyone can be taught?? (assuming I actually COULD be taught) one year I made my oldest and was just going to write happy birthday and put on the topper he’d picked out (a skateboarder on a ramp). But I did so horribly on my attempt to write anything that I ended up putting the topper over my attempt and filling the blank space with sprinkles.

What wonderful pictures. Wish I could get around better my daughter and I could’ve came up there, and said hello. My daughter is NightOwlMama and we both… well she lives about 30 minutes from there, and I live about an hour from there. Not bad. I’m so glad you had a great time, and shared your fun pictures with us.
