Wordless Wednesday – Sledding

Over the holidays we had the chance to go sledding with family from out of state. It was a fabulous time even though it was a bit on the cold side.  I’m so happy when I can capture moments like these, I only wish that sometimes I was in the pictures too!

I don’t know who had more fun, the kids or the adults!

You may think this is a pretty cute little snowman but you would be wrong. Warren was adamant that he had created a tower not a snowman.

Aw, precious.

Warren didn’t go on nearly as many of the runs as Lucian did, who was having a blast! The wind and bright sun wasn’t so appealing to Warren and the times he did go down he looked like this…

Lucian on the other hand couldn’t get enough and Daddy and everyone else was more than happy to oblige him!

When the harsh Minnesota winters question my resolve to live in such a cold place with so much snow, it is moments like these that make it all worth it.

Simply breathtaking.

  1. What fun! I’m so glad we don’t get snow here in FL, but we miss out on all of the winter fun that you guys get to have. It sounds like Lucian had a great time, and I have to say that I don’t blame Warren one bit for not wanting that cold wind in his face. 😉

Thanks for the linky. Happy WW!

  2. I love the sky in the last picture! Looks like you all had a fun time. We even got to go sledding here in Atlanta last week – but thankfully it has all melted by now! Have a great Wednesday 🙂

  3. Sure looks like tons of fun & your baby has happy written all over his face. Yep, that look is the definition of happiness. Thanks for sharing, and have a great day!

  4. Well his tiny little snowman, oops tower was precious. Good thing you took a photo because I’m sure it melted away rather fast, since it was matchbox car size of a tower.
