It is no secret that I love brunch. My kids can be on the pickier side but one thing we all love and enjoy as a family are breakfast foods. It is why we often have breakfast for dinner and why I’ve become a pro at making everything from scrambled eggs to french toast to bacon and everything in between. But I was also the kid growing up who almost always picked breakfast at a restaurant if it was still be served, no matter what time of day. It is true comfort food for me and why I was pleasantly surprised to receive a copy of Brunch at Bobby’s from likable Food Network Star Bobby Flay. This cookbook is jam packed with 140 brunch recipes. It is no wonder it has topped the New York Time’s Bestseller List.
About the Book
At long last, Bobby shares his simplest, most sought-after recipes—while still delivering his signature intense flavors. Bobby Flay may be best known for his skills at the grill, but brunch is his favorite meal of the week. In Brunch @ Bobby’s he includes 140 recipes starting with the lip-smacking cocktails, both spiked and virgin, that we have come to expect from him, along with hot and iced coffees and teas. He then works his way through eggs; pancakes, waffles, and French toast (including flavored syrups and spreads); pastries (a first) and breads; salads and sandwiches; and side dishes. Pull up a seat and enjoy a Sangria Sunrise, Carrot Cake Pancakes with Maple-Cream Cheese Drizzle, Sautéed Bitter Green Omelets, and Wild Mushroom-Yukon Gold Hash. This is how Bobby does brunch.
While you might not typically think of brunch when you think of Bobby Flay, he’s got some amazingly sweet recipes in his new cookbook. The Carrot Cake Pancakes with Maple-Cream Cheese Drizzle look absolutely decadent, but I can’t wait to try the Mini Pumpkin Churros with Chocolate-Orange Dipping Sauce.
If sweet treats aren’t your thing or you’d like to add some delicious protein dishes to your menu, Bobby Flay has some sure winners like this Tarte Flambe or Texas Eggs Benedict featuring rib eye steak. Yum!
This cookbook has several alcoholic recipes that are considered acceptable before noon like Sangria Sunrise, but you’ll also find other non-alcoholic drinks such as Iced Coffee and Berry Tea Smoothie. With so many recipes to chose from, there really is something for everyone!

I always think of brunch as a party or celebration because it is not an everyday meal — and the menu possibilities are so fun!
I love that brunch is everyone getting together for a wonderful meal together early in the day.
I like brunch because I don’t have to wake up too early!
I LIKE BRUNCH BECAUSE IT IS A COMBINATION OF LUNCH AND BREAKFAST AND THEN I DON’T NEED TO EAT AGAIN UNTIL DINNER 🙂
Facing a plate of scrambled eggs when I first wake up is not for me. My appetite kicks in later, so brunch is perfect. I like the variety of breakfast and lunch items that give me and my friends more choices.
My favorite thing about brunch is eggs & sausage!
Brunch is my favorite because I love breakfast but dislike early mornings.
love french toast and bacon
Love waffles with brunch & sharing it with family!
I get to sleep in :0)
I’m never awake early enough for breakfast so Brunch is the way to go.
Mimosas and yummy food.
My favorite thing about brunch is that it usually involves sleeping in late and the weekend! The food is definitely a great part of it, pancakes, waffles and French toast…or all of the above!
My favorite thing about brunch is being able to sleep in and have a leisurely morning, and still get to enjoy all my favorite foods that are usually deemed breakfast.
My favorite part of brunch is that it includes both breakfast and lunch foods! I love both!
I love the mixture of breakfast food and other time food
I love I have so many options too choose from for eating
I love the savory and sweet combination of items on a brunch menu. Plus the Bloody Mary’s.
I love having breakfast food all the time.
my favorite thing about brunch is breafast foods and sleeping late too
