*This post is brought to you in partnership with Wilton. *
My blog turns five years old today on February 5th. (Where did the last five years go? No seriously, where?)
This golden anniversary should be celebrated. What better company to do that with than Wilton, an industry leader in baking and cake decorating?
Wilton embodies some of my favorite things.
- Baking (a given)
- Eating sweet things (cough)
- Parties (wahoo)
My partnership with Wilton goes back to 2009. And visiting their headquarters was first blog trip I went on. It is also one of my most special. After attending their blog events several times over the years, I’ve had the chance to build a real relationship with some of the people that are behind the brand.
They taught me how to decorate cakes.
And while I’m not perfect, it is a skill which can be so much fun.
It lead to me making some special ones for my kiddos. Like this first 3D cake I did for Lucian’s birthday.
And this dinosaur 3D cake which which was my most time consuming but so worth it.
This Spiderman cake I completed while 8 months pregnant with Wesley. (What was I thinking?)
Cake, anyone?
I also made some great blogging friends along the way!
To celebrate, Wilton is offering me a fun prize package to give away to one lucky reader! It has some of their new products for snack cakes and candy making, and one of my personal favorites, the Wilton Chocolate Pro Electric Chocolate Melter.
Other new products for candy making including limited edition candy melt flavors like birthday cake and cherry cordial and candy making tools to make it even easier to achieve the results you want with less mess.
They also have introduced a snack cake line with bakeware in all your favorite snack cake shapes and even fillings and glazes! You’ll also find fun ways in which to present these tasty cakes.

Visit Wilton.com to purchase all these items and more to make your celebrations even more fun! They offer free shipping on orders of $50 or more and like offering sales to help you save. Also look for Wilton’s products at retailers nationwide including Walmart, Target and your local craft stores.
