So it has come to my attention the past few years that members of our extended family think my kids are always sick. It’s not true. We have been relatively healthy for most of this school year with the exception of a couple of weeks around Christmas and a few sniffles here and there. Sometimes it does seem as if my children catch every “Ew” they encounter.
I blame it on their level of involvement. Yes, they go to public school. Yes, they are also involved in activities: Dance, Scouts, Sports etc. And they go to Sunday School and shake hands with people. The “Ew” germs are everywhere and I refuse to keep my kids in a bubble to try to avoid it. Sick happens. They survive. The important part is knowing how to cope when ‘Sick just got real.™.
We have been long time fans of Pfizer Pediatric Products. Children’s Advil® has been a very regular tool in our medicine cabinet for years. Most of my kids have struggled with Ear infections since they were toddlers and I can’t imagine how we would have made it through without it to help provide relief for fevers, aches and pains.
Children’s Advil®, a great solution for kids as young as 2 and up to 11. Children’s Advil® comes in several great-tasting flavors, including: Sugar-free Dye-free Berry, Bubble Gum, Grape, Blue Raspberry, Fruit and Dye-Free White Grape flavors. There’s also Infants’ Advil® White Grape, which provides unsurpassed fever relief with a syringe for easy dosing for children 6-23 months.
As they have gotten older, we have begun using Children’s Robitussin® Cough & Chest Congestion and Children’s Robitussin® Nighttime Cough as needed to fight coughs and colds. Without them I think my boys would really struggle to sleep when they have colds. They both have asthma and colds seem to hit them extra hard (another reason the family probably thinks they are always sick.)
Children’s Robitussin® Cough & Chest Congestion and Children’s Robitussin® Nighttime Cough non-drowsy daytime formula helps break up chest congestion, while the long-acting nighttime formula relieves coughs and runny noses to help kids get the rest they need.
Children’s Dimetapp® Cold & Cough tackles a child’s most bothersome stuffy and runny noses, all while working to relieve cough.
