Pampering Myself at Home with Madison Reed Natural Hair Color #MRTreat

On Friday morning I am leaving on a five day cruise with my husband. I am super excited to spend some quality time alone with him. But the trip came rather out of the blue early last week, and I’ve been trying to get ready to get everything lined up. All of the instructions were easy to follow on box with visual and graphic elements.

When my two year old went down for his afternoon nap, I decided this would be the perfect time to do a little pampering and mark a couple of tasks off my to-do list.

I loved the extra items in the ammonia- free hair color kit that I wasn’t expecting, including barrier cream to apply to my forehead, ears and neck and a cleansing cloth to wash off any coloring that ended up on my skin. I liked that there were no harsh smells or chemicals. Within 20 minutes I had my hair completely covered. All I had to do was wait 35 minutes before I could rinse it out and wash it.

I used this time to pamper myself with a pedicure and read a book. I thought the wait might seem long, but it actually went by fast.

So what are my overall thoughts? I love this new color! It isn’t drastic, but just what I was looking for to give my hair a more vibrant look for fall. My hair feels extra soft and just plain healthy. Now I’m leaving shortly to get my hair cut and eyebrows waxed. I can’t wait for my trip and love that I’m so happy with my hair!
