It is already Christmas Eve.
How did that happen?
I hope you’ve been making some great memories this holiday season. Mine has certainly been busy but still joyful.
I had some fun taking pictures of Wes in front of the tree. He looks adorable in his holiday suit, courtesy of mamas and papas. When I look at my little man, I’m surprised how fast the time has flown.
Somehow my little baby has been replaced by a toddler. A toddler with a mind all his own who makes my heart melt with one glance.
I originally wanted the suit for our our holiday concert and recital but a 21 month old sitting through these events quietly was not likely. My husband and I took turns attending events. This allowed Wes to nap during his normal time and while not ideal, it was better for everyone else in attendance. (Seriously. What is up with Christmas concerts in early afternoon for 1 1/2 hrs? I can barely sit through that!) But I had to capture him in this adorable little man suit. That led to a little photo shoot in front our tree on a lazy December Sunday.
‘Tis the season to slow down and enjoy these precious moments with your family. I know that I’ve let the hustle and bustle of the upcoming holidays get me stressed. Trying to get work done while decorating the house, making cookies, attending events, buying gifts and wrapping them…the list goes on and on. And I’ve decided that I’m just going to slow down and enjoy the rest of the year with my family. I hope you can do the same with your loved ones.
Wishing you all a very merry and bright Christmas from my family to yours!
