Pineapple lemonade is a delicious twist on a classic drink recipe! There are few drinks better than a refreshing glass of homemade lemonade. This time around though we wanted to try something new so we used meyer lemons and included pineapple juice. This homemade Pineapple Meyer Lemonade turned out so delicious!
Last week I passed by a small bag of Meyer lemons and I couldn’t resist buying them. I asked Wesley what he wanted to make with them and he chose lemonade. This is no surprise. Homemade lemonade is one of his favorite drinks!
Using a Citrus Juicer
I wanted to have a juicer on hand that was easy for Wes to use but didn’t take up much space. We have very limited cupboard space and they are already overflowing. I found this Prepworks by Progressive Dome Lid Citrus Juicer on Amazon with amazing reviews and a really affordable price so I ordered it for Wesley. If you order it as well through my link, I’ll get a very small commission and no extra cost to you. It will help me buy more products to test out with my Mini Chef!
Wes loved using this citrus juicer!

He didn’t struggle to get the juice out, although I always finished it off to make sure we got every last drop.
It comes with a dome lid which is great for keeping the juicer clean but also doubles as a measuring cup. It was really easy to catch the seeds and excess pulp. Highly recommend it!
How to Make Pineapple Lemonade
For this recipe we used simple syrup which is a must for homemade lemonade. Not sure how to make it? Just mix 1 cup of sugar with 1 cup of water and heat until the sugar is completely dissolved, stirring often. Cool before adding to lemonade.
We always have little cans of pineapple juice around so for this recipe we just used one of those and added it to the pitcher along with our fresh lemon juice and simple syrup. If you want a stronger pineapple taste you could add more, but I really wanted to be able to taste the Meyer lemons.
With some extra lemon slices, fresh pineapple and mint leaves, we had a beautiful garnish to dressing up our lemonade.
This would be great to serve at your next celebration! Give a try for a birthday party, Easter, Mother’s Day or just because! If you want something strictly for adults, you can try this homemade Italian limoncello recipe which also features fresh lemons and simple syrup.
