I didn’t realize just how awesome it would be like to attend an NFL game. While I have been a fan of football since my teens, I didn’t go to my first Vikings game until I was well into my 20’s. I wish I would have started attending them earlier as now it is more difficult with young children. Nothing can beat the feeling. The camaraderie with the other fans. The pride as you try to cheer your team to victory. Looking throughout the stadium and seeing nothing but a sea of your team’s colors. I can only imagine how awesome it would be to go to the game of the year, the Super Bowl!
Tide has it right. If there is one thing a football fan knows, loyalty to our teams is important and the best way to to let everyone know is by wearing our team colors. As an official sponsor of the NFL, they are offering you, the fans, the chance to win a trip to Super Bowl XLVII in honor of 90 years of fan’s passion for team colors. Simply upload a picture showing off your team colors when you were most proud through their Show Us Your Colors Sweepstakes.
You know you have them.
Those shots of you in your prized team jersey when your team had an important victory. Perhaps even sporting some body paint?
The strange hats that you would never normally wear but do so lovingly in support of your own team? (I doubt Packers fans would normally feel comfortable wearing a big block in the shape of cheese on their head, except to cheer their team, right?)
The pictures of your kids looking even more adorable in NFL merchandise because you are starting them young to know to cheer for your team. The best team. (*a.k.a The Vikings)
You’ll not only be entered to win a trip to the Super Bowl in New Orleans, LA but helping your team move up the ranks of “Photo Upload Standings”, showing which teams have the most photo uploads. At the end of the sweepstakes, the team whose fans uploaded the most pictures will receive bragging rights and a $15,000 donation to the charity of their choice. That is one ranking you can directly influence. You do want your team to win, right?
