Air Fryer Baby Carrots are a super quick and easy side dish you can have on your table in just 15 minutes! All you need are a few simple ingredients that can be found in your pantry for this delicious roasted vegetable recipe with herbs.
I love making roasted vegetables in the air fryer. Have you tried air fryer radishes or air fryer acorn squash? So good! I’ve roasted carrots in the air fryer in the past using whole carrots. But to make it even easier to enjoy this side dish, this air fryer recipe uses baby carrots instead. This cuts down on the prep time which is a win in my book! Air Fryer Baby Carrots Ingredients
Only a few basic ingredients are required to make these tasty air fryer carrots. You’ll need:
- baby carrots
- olive oil
- sea salt
- freshly ground pepper
- thyme
- oregano
- basil
- fresh parsley
Mostly dried herbs are used for this recipe, making it an easy recipe to make anytime! I included fresh parsley because I had it on hand and it makes a great garnish. However, you can easily substitute dried parsley instead.
How to Make Baby Carrots in the Air Fryer
To make this baby carrots recipe, you’ll want to start by preheating your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a medium bowl add your carrots, olive oil, sea salt, freshly ground pepper, thyme, oregano and basil. Stir to coat evenly.
Add the baby carrots in the air fryer basket and cook for 6 minutes and toss.
Cook for an additional 4 to 6 minutes or until tender. Exact cooking time will depend upon the thickness of your carrots.
Transfer to a serving bowl and toss with fresh parsley before serving. It is that easy!
Note: If you plan to make more than one pound of carrots at one time, be sure to not over fill your air fryer basket so you still have plenty of air flow.
