Pickle Dip Ingredients

To make this dill pickle dip recipe you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • cream cheese
  • sour cream
  • dill pickles
  • onions
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • garlic
  • fresh dill weed (dried can be substituted)
  • dill pickle juice

If you plan to substitute dried dill weed you’ll want to cut the dill weed amount from a tablespoon to just a teaspoon. I personally love the flavor of fresh dill but it is not required for this recipe to still taste delicious!Ingredients to make a pickle dip

How to Make Dill Pickle Dip

In medium bowl, beat your softened cream cheese and sour cream until fully combined. You want to make sure your cream cheese is fully softened (without being melted) so your dip will be smooth.

Dill pickle dip ingredients in a bowl

Stir in your finely diced pickles, onion, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, dill weed and pickle juice until completely combined.

Creamy dip made with cream cheese and dill

Refrigerate for at least 3 hours to allow the flavors to meld. If you are short on time you can serve it right away. The result is a creamier dip but it won’t have a strong dill pickle flavor.  I think this dip is even better after it has had a chance to thicken up a bit and Given a few hours to thicken. (The dip really thickens as it chills.) Garnish with pickle slice and fresh dill, if desired.

Store any remaining dip in refrigerator. The longer this dip sits the stronger the flavor. If you want a strong dill pickle flavor make this dip a day ahead of time.
